What can you get for $2?

Last week my neighbors were away and we took care of their dog and their two cats. To Kyle's surprise, he was paid $10 for his laborious duties. We told him he could keep $2 to spend and the rest he had to save and put in his car bank. So, off to Target we went. What can you get for $2? You're probably thinking, not much. But in a 3 year old's eyes, there was plenty to choose from. Of course when we hit the toy aisle we went straight for the $20 items (a boy after my own heart). Anyway, he came away very happily with a brand new matchbox car. He paid the cashier his $2 and was so excited to get his car and a receipt! So cute. He had $0.96 to spare, so off to the grocery store we went and picked out a candy bar. How excited was he that it was his candy bar and he could eat the whole thing if he wanted to. Unfortunately, yesterday it was stinkin' hot here and it completely melted before we even got home. So, we stuck it in the freezer and he got to eat it today! Yummmm!

So, if you happen to have a spare $2, you can get yourself a new matchbox car and candy bar with a penny to spare :)
